Spencer Naake is a dedicated father and children’s book author who uses storytelling to teach essential values to young readers.

The first book in the series —Kelsey and the Magical Village – A Story of COM-MU-NI-TY—follows Kelsey the Kangaroo to a magical village where she learns about how unity, kindness, and gratitude can create a place where everyone belongs and thrives—a COM-MU-NI-TY. The next two books in the series—Authentic Cal and Bella the Bee’s Balancing Act—will explore other core values: authenticity and balance.

Spencer’s series on values was inspired by his children, Kelsey and Scott, who have been actively involved in the creative endeavor. Spencer’s series on values invites children and families alike to explore meaningful lessons through fun, memorable tales that spark curiosity and wonder. Spencer lives with his children in Petaluma, California, a vibrant gem of a community in Northern California.
